Protest song

Generals gathered in their masses,
just like witches at black masses.
Evil minds that plot destruction,
sorcerers of death's construction.
In the fields the bodies burning,
as the war machine keeps turning.
Death and hatred to mankind,
poisoning their brainwashed minds...Oh lord yeah!

Politicians hide themselves away
They only started the war
Why should they go out to fight?
They leave that role to the poor

Time will tell on their power minds
Making war just for fun
Treating people just like pawns in chess
Wait `till their judgement day comes, yeah!

Now in darkness, world stops turning,
as you hear the bodies burning.
No more war pigs of the power,
hand of god has struck the hour.
Day of judgement, god is calling,
on their knees the war pigs crawling.
Begging mercy for their sins,
Satan, laughing, spreads his wings...Oh lord, yeah!

War Pigs by Black Sabbath is a perfect example of a protest song. It is saying how politicians make decisions that never really affect them but they affect the average citizen. It says they started all the wars but they are not the ones that have to fight, it is the poor people that have to fight and put their lives on the line.

Womens rights

I think that womens rights have come a long way and almost have the same rights men. In some cases however they do not. For instance, women sometimes do not get paid as much as men for jobs. That is about the only instance that women do not have the same rights as men.

JFK

I learned a lot about JFK that i did not know prior to the trip. For example, i had no idea that JFK did anything to help with the mentally retarded. Also, i had previously heard about the Cuban Missile Crisis but i had no idea what it was or that it was during JFK's presidency. Another thing i learned is that JFK had eight siblings. The most interesting part at the museum was the coconut. I felt that the story behind it was very interesting. I felt that it was a very good field trip and i can't think of a way that i could have made it better. I feel that JFK had the potential to be one of the greatest presidents ever because he had extremely good ideas that could have greatly improved our country. He could have potentially been great but he did not have the chance to follow through on a lot of his ideas because he was assassinated.
